It should stay a mystery and spontanious. Districts would still get full, just a lot earlier otherwise.

Gaile and the developers read these forums so if you post suggestions here then they will be looked at.

Correct answer.
Apparently the OP hasn't tried to enter Int dist 1 whenever Gaile is in there.

I like the hunt for the full ID1 when I see Gaile online.

I think the problem with an advance warning would be that Gaile herself wouldn't even be able to get in ID1.

Wow. You guys give americans/english speakers a bad name. I know, lets flame everyone who doesn't have a masters degree in english and types perfectly! Also, even though it was a bit on the bad side, once somebody tells him his english could use some work, do you all really feel it necessary to flame the @#*@ out of him?
Discuss the idea, don't flame the english any more, especially since I fixed it.

I'm with Gonzo on this. I think Gaile wouldn't be able to get in, unless she has some command that lets her bypass the district limits.

well considering she is lv 7 and manages to get anywhere i think it's pretty obvious that her account is not a normal one. After all... she is a staff member and uses her account to deal with us rather than playing the game. Of course she might have another account for that...
The most common places are LA and kaineng as loads of people have access to those locations. Just add her to your friends list and search as soon as you see her online.

Did you mean the in-game chats? If so, I think that would be a good idea. It may be hard to do, though, because I'm sure Gaile has a busy schedule, and she does the in-game chats only when she has something to report and there is a need for one. But on the other hand, regular updates from Gaile would be very useful as well.

This was only her IGN for the preview weekend, since it was a preview character. After release, she will be able to bring her regular "Gaile Gray" ranger to Nightfall.

I think, that despite being more convenient for people, it would be contrary to the spirit of the event.
Fansite Fridays were much better for orderly question answering. People asked questions, they picked the ones they were willing to answer, and they answered them as best as they could.
But Fansite Fridays were cancelled for some reason, and replaced with Frog and Gaile.
Frog and Gaile show up randomly, they talk to people, and everyone that can make it, makes it. The unpredictable nature enables a wider variety of people to get in that may not otherwise have gotten the opportunity. Gaile and Frog speak about what they're allowed to speak about, and otherwise bond with the community in a unique, innovative way.
The odds are that if information you know hasn't been told already, you're probably not going to be answered. Anet will release most information when it feels it's the right time to release it.
For individuals who never make it to Gaile chats (I've been to a grand total of 1 period), the forums are excellent places to talk about things. The fansite forums ARE read, and occasionally even replied to.
When they aren't, at times, it may very well be because the question cannot be answered, either due to Anet not wanting to spoil a surprise, or because the answer is inconclusive. (As in, they're exploring different options, but have not yet made a decision as to which will be pursued to completion and release.) An example would be 'the trade problem'. An auction house has been touted as one possible solution, but I don't believe that we've been directly promised(assured?) one. Perhaps they have other ideas to explore. The only thing that will lead to an answer in that instance is, well, time, which goes back to one of the most hated, but necessary, replies, "wait and see"/"we're working on it", and such.

If you need to be told, I'm afraid you'll never understand.
Thanks for the suggestions, but here are a couple of thoughts:- If I schedule a visit, I'm afraid that there will be too many people who can't attend because, well, the district might fill up, it's true.
- Also, folks might feel obliged to come early and wait, and one of my visits isn't exactly worth taking your valuable time in waiting!
- Lastly, no, I cannot "bump" people out of a district, so I wait my turn, like you do. Therefore, if we schedule things, I might not be there.
- I do try to mix and match the hours, so I can catch different countries and different players according to the time of day.
I really do appreciate the input, though, and look forward to your suggestions on how to make the visits pleasant and fun for everyone.
